Jehovah's Witnesses Are Satanic

Dramatic title. But give it a few paragraphs and I'll sort of prove it. I say 'sort of' because I have spoke with some of the Jehovah's witnesses and they are very steadfast in their beliefs even if you can prove to them with their own Bible (the New World Translation) that the governing body is teaching them stuff, through the Watchtower magazine, which is against the word of Jehovah, Jesus, and the Bible.

We'll start with an easy one to prove. Shunning your parents. If a Witness is disfellowshipped the other Witnesses are meant to have no contact with them. This includes family members.

Lets get a real-life scenario going. Suppose Mr & Mrs Jones have 3 kids. The Jones brought their children up as devout Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs Jones starts smoking. She is immediately disfellowshipped by her local Kingdom Hall. Mr Jones leaves and stands by his wife. Two of the three children choose to stand by their mother also. But one sticks to her guns and stays on the path that she thinks Jehovah has chosen, and chooses not to have any contact with her mother.

So where did she get this idea that she could have no contact with her mother? The Watchtower magazine, and other publications from the Jehovah's Witnesses.

"Yes, when a person chooses to leave Jehovah and the way of life set out in the Scriptures, faithful family members typically experience deep anguish. ‘I love my sister very much…I would do anything to see her come back to Jehovah!’ Maria, whose brother turned his back… says: ‘… I especially miss him at large family gatherings.’” (The Watchtower, September 1, 2006, page 17)

“This brings a test upon a Christian when a marriage mate, a child, a parent, or another close relative is disfellowshipped or has disassociated himself from the congregation… the principles of which apply equally to those who are disfellowshipped and to those who disassociate themselves… Hence, we also avoid social fellowship with an expelled person. This would rule out joining him in a picnic, party, or trip to the shops or theater or sitting down to a meal with him either in the home or at a restaurant. …if the disfellowshipped or disassociated one is a relative living outside the immediate family circle and home… It might be possible to have almost no contact at all with the relative.” (Our Kingdom Ministry, August 2002, page 3-4)

But what does the NWT Bible say? The obvious - "Honor your father and your mother in order that your days may prove long upon the ground that Jehovah your God is giving you." (NWT Exodus 20:12)

How is shunning a parent honoring them? Honor means "regard with great respect". Shunning means "persistently avoid, ignore, or reject (someone or something)". So shunning is the complete opposite of what the Bible teaches. The elders at Bethel have set themselves up as some sort of governing body which thinks it is above the very God they are meant to serve.

Blood. Oh come on it is what the Jehovah's Witnesses are known for. I would be doing an injustice not to mention it. Hypocrisy once again raises its ugly head with regards to the Witnesses view on blood. When asked why they don't accept blood transfusions Jehovah's Witnesses will point straight to Leviticus 17:12, which reads as:

"That is why I have said to the sons of Israel: “No soul of YOU must eat blood and no alien resident who is residing as an alien in YOUR midst should eat blood."" (NWT Leviticus 17:12)

See it all make sense. Well, no it does not. The verse is saying not to eat blood. Back in 1961 The Watchtower said, with regards to blood transfusions:

"Whether whole or fractional, one's own or someone else's, transfused or injected, it is wrong." (The Watchtower, September 15, 1961, page 559)

So, dialysis would be the 'fractional' transfusion of one's own blood but that is fine by Jehovah's Witnesses. Odd. But that is not the hypocrisy surrounding blood. The hypocrisy lies that the governing body took the judgement of Witnesses out of God's hands and made it their own decision.

"However, congregations have never been instructed to disfellowship those who voluntarily take blood transfusions or approve them. We let the judgment of such violators of Gods law concerning the sacredness of blood remain with Jehovah, the Supreme Judge." (The Watchtower, August 1, 1958, page 478)

"Beginning in 1961 any who ignored the divine requirement, accepted blood transfusions, and manifested an unrepentant attitude were disfellowshipped from the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses." (Jehovah's Witnesses - Proclaimers of God's Kingdom, page 183-184)

So no more waiting for Armageddon and seeing what Jehovah has to say about blood transfusions the governing body has taken it upon themselves to decide on behalf of Jehovah.

OK. Time for the Bible. The Jehovah's Witnesses use their own Bible - New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. Being 'the one true religion' you have to wonder why Jehovah waited until 1961 to spread the word. Up until 1961 the Jehovah's Witnesses had used the King James Bible. In 1946 the Watchtower president, Nathan Knorr, proposed a fresh translation which eventually became the New World Translation.

The New World Translation was produced by the New World Bible Translation Committee, formed in 1947. This committee is said to have comprised unnamed members of multinational background. The New World Bible Translation Committee requested that the Watch Tower Society not publish the names of its members, stating that they did not want to "advertise themselves but let all the glory go to the Author of the Scriptures, God."

Or did they? Well they did want to remain unnamed, but the reason may have been that the people who did the translation were not qualified to translate. The people were: Nathan H. Knorr (President of the organization), Frederick W. Franz (Vice-President), George D. Gangas, and Albert D. Schroeder. But none of the people were qualified to translate the Bible.

In fact back in 1954 Frederick Franz was involved in the Douglas Walsh trial, in Scotland, which was a landmark trial to determine if Jehovah's Witnesses were to be considered as a religious denomination in Great Britain. You can read the entire transcript here (http://archive.org/details/WalshTrial). But the bit concerning Frederick Franz is documented as:

Q. So that what is published as the truth today by the Society may have to be admitted to be wrong in a few years?
A. We have to wait and see.
Q. And in the meantime the body of Jehovah’s Witnesses have been following error?
A. They have been following misconstructions on the Scriptures.
Q. Error?
A. Well, error.

So the answers by Franz state that Jehovah's Witnesses may be following doctorine which may, or may not, be erroneous and in a few years the governing body may, or may not, change their view on any given subject.

Q. You, yourself, read and speak Hebrew, do you?
A. I do not speak Hebrew.
Q. You do not?
A. No.
Q. Can you, yourself, translate that into Hebrew?
A. Which?
Q. That fourth verse of the Second Chapter of Genesis?
A. You mean here?
Q. Yes?
A. No, I won’t attempt to do that.

Franz admits he cannot speak Hebrew, and is unwilling to attempt to translate the fourth verse of the second chapter of Genesis. Something to hide, like not being able to translate?

The biggest problem may not be that the people who created the New World Translation were not really capable, the biggest problem seems to be that at any given time the governing body can change its stance on a particular subject. This goes against the Bible, even the New World Translation Bible:

"I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll;19and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll." (NWT Revelation 22:18-19)

You can imagine the conversation:

God: OK, write this down. It is the real translation of what I actually meant. Let us get it all down in one good book.
Franz: Are you sure about this?
God: Sure. And if you make a mistake you can always change it.
Franz: Really?
God: No. I'm kidding. You change anything and you go to Hell you heathen.
Franz: But I  don't believe in Hell.
God: The future doesn't look good for you.
Franz: Damn.

You just cannot tell a congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses that something is alright and then change that view a few years down the line. Because if the view is changed that would say those that originally preached the error are indeed false prophets. And that is the basis of the hypocrisy. You have a Bible translated by the unqualified which can be changed at any time because it was wrong.

And if you are a Jehovah's Witness don't even think about questioning the New World Translation, The Watchtower, Awake!, or any other publication from the governing body. If you do you'll be disfellowshipped. And to end the bit about the New World Translation we'll head back to Frederick Franz at the Douglas Walsh trial:

Q. If a member of Jehovah's witnesses took the view himself that that prophecy was wrong, and said so, would he be disfellowshipped?
A. Yes, if he said so, and kept on persisting in creating trouble, because if the whole organization believes one thing, even though it be erroneous, and somebody else starts on his own trying to put his ideas across, then there is a disunity and trouble, there cannot be harmony, there cannot be marching. Our purpose is to have unity.
Q. Unity at all costs?
A. Unity at all costs, because we believe and are sure that Jehovah God is using our organization, the governing body of our organization, to direct it, even though mistakes are made from time to time.
Q. A unity based on an enforced acceptance of false prophecy?
A. That is conceded to be true.
Q. And the person who expresses his view, as you say, that it was wrong, and was disfellowshipped, would be in breach of the covenant, if he was baptized?
A. That is correct.
Q. And as you said yesterday expressly, would be worthy of death?
A. I think....
Q. Would you say yes or no?
A. I will answer yes, unhesitatingly.
Q. Do you call that religion?
A. It certainly is.
Q. Do you call that Christianity?
A. I certainly do.

Christianity, according to Franz, is a blind obedience to a governing body rather than God.

Up to now we have the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses use a Bible translated by the incapable. We have hypocrisy in blood transfusions versus dialysis. And going against the Bible to enforce 'shunning rules' against family. This is just scratching the surface.

But it is not just the Jehovah's Witnesses. Look at any religion and you'll notice problems. If in doubt just stick with God. No, seriously, no church, no organization, just you and God.

  1. I applaud your blog, good research on JW!
    Jehovah's Witnesses *blood transfusion confusion*.

In 2013 God's will and scripture has little to do with the Jehovah's Witnesses position on use of blood products.
The JW leadership is foremost concerned what will play out in a secular court of law as to the parent Watchtower being held liable for wrongful deaths.
Most Jehovah's Witnesses rushed to the ER with massive blood loss will cry NO BLOOD right up to their last breath,The shocker is they can now have most of the blood components that will pull them through, but they are so indoctrinated that blood is forbidden that they can't comprehend the loopholes.
The Watchtower has drilled and grilled us that our stand on blood is NON NEGOTIABLE.
The loopholes that allow blood usage is to save the Watchtower corporation money from blood death liability suits.
This is a truly evil organization that would sacrifice tens of thousands of men, women, children for the almighty dollar.
The blood products ban has been in force since 1945 the buzz today about it being a *personal conscience matter* and the hope of new medical advances like artificial blood don't undo all those who have past perished.
The New York city based Watchtower sect is concerned foremost with liability lawsuits for wrongful death. They know that if they repeal the ban on *whole* blood transfusion, that it will open the door for legal examination of all the thousands who have died since 1945.
    Cults do get people killed!
50-100 times as many men, women, children have been killed by the Watchtower society ban on *whole* blood transfusions than at Jonestown kool-aid mass murders.
*tell the truth don't be afraid*
